Lots of people think about Vizcaya's gardens as a place to take a leisurely stroll, sit under the oak trees to enjoy a quiet afternoon, or alongside the bay and watch the boats come and go. All of these are good. But what people don't do is PLAY - so we're fixing that.
Taking inspiration from the 1920s, when Vizcaya was James Deering's private home, we're putting together a game night in the gardens - think lawn bowling, yard dice and croquet. We'll have musicians sharing some great jazz sounds and there will be lots of yummy bites and refreshing drinks. We encourage guests to embrace the era and come in their seersuckers or other period attire - because anything worth doing is worth doing right!
